Make sure you [...] I was taught by my super perfectionist parents that credit was dangerous and to be afraid of it. And he was, but we are definitely different with our spending styles. Be diligent beforehand to avoid heartache later, and if it’s too late and you are already there, start your research for a course or repair company to counsel you in finding a way out! My other piece of advice is to take some sort of financial advising course before you get married, even if you think you are totally compatible in that area.
